Fishing on the Snake River!

Some Friends of ours took us out on the Snake River today!
The kids had a blast
fishing and playing in the
sand. We went about 50
miles up the Snake River, went through some pretty awesome rapids, had lunch on one of the sandy beaches, and the kids each
caught a fish. Great fun was had by all!!

Coloring Eggs

Coloring Easter eggs was sooo much fun! The weather was wonderful and the kids enjoyed the day finding their baskets, searching for eggs, and just taking it easy. Missed being around family, but we are excited to see everyone in June.

Showing off the new kite

Jacob received a kite for his birthday and Nicholas and Kristen had to help him hold it up for this picture. The kids are still waiting for the perfect day to go and fly it!!! Maybe sometime this week.

Jacob's buddies

Jacob' s buddies Joe (on the left) and Cooper (on the right) spent the night. They decided to put together the legos he had gotten for his birthday. It's always easier with a little help from your friends.

Lordy, Lordy look who's 40!!

On March 28th Steve hit the big 40. His friends and I suprised him with some cake and decorations out at the ice rink. His buddies put some pictures of him in the ice and we all threw Depends out on the rink when he scored a goal. It was low key, but fun and he appreciated that I didn't go overboard.

Jacob's 6th Birthday

On March 6th Jacob turned 6 years old. Seems like just yesterday he was a baby. He decided on a Star Wars Party and he didn't want me to make the cake. So he got the one from Albertson's with Darth Vadar on it and was tickled pink. He had about 9 boys for the party and 3 of them spent the night. A good time was had by all. And mom made it through without pulling all her hair out:-)

Clarkston's only snow for the winter!!

This was the only snow we got this winter. It hit about mid February and only stayed for a week. The kids had a blast sliding down our little hill and making lots of snow angels.
